DIY Swan Valentine’s Wrapper

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching.  Can you feel the pressure of what to give someone?  Well, no matter what you’re planning on giving, I’ve got another awesome Valentine’s printable wrapper for all you love birds out there.  This wrapper should be used with small gifts though, you know the most highly valuable small gift you must give to someone on this special day?

The day of love is also associated with love birds, so I created this swan Valentine’s wrapper.  I didn’t want the subject to be a typical bird and that’s why I chose Mute swans.  Not only are Mute swans not afraid to show their affection, they are true romantics.   They are monogamous and protect their partner.  Both female and male share the responsibilities of taking care of its nest.  As you can see their love towards each other exceeds beyond them into racing their cygnets together.

I love the gentle elegance swans possess. There’s nothing more graceful and elegant than swans displaying affection to each other. This was truly my inspiration for this project.

With this printable you will get two kinds of minimalist swan Valentine’s wrapper.  One is simple two swans kissing and the other two swans kissing, but this time I colored in the beaks red for a simple pop of color.  Though I didn’t make gift tags for this, you can download the tags on the DIY Geometric Heart Wrapper I created previously.

Without further ado here it is!

I just love the simple lines of this design.  Minimal does it most of the time for me.  This was my favorite printable so far.

Here I added natural twine to keep it simple and not over power the two love birds.  For additional thought into it, I added a sprig of Rosemary which smells wonderful.

The other wrapper, I colored in the beaks with a pop of red in commemorating the special day.  Also, a suggestion of putting baby’s breath instead of the Rosemary would be so lovely. Enjoy!
